...yes it's a flaming lips reference...and yes, i was pretty drunk
but the cool thing is that a friend of a friend saw it, took a picture and made it her msn display picture without knowing it was mine. and then my friend said "that looks like the giraffe ian always draws" and sent me this picture.

thanks, that's quite the compliment, and one i would quite well refute.
my mom sent me a card on valentine's day (yes it was the only one i got that wasn't from my friend scott, and yes i'm ok with that. but only because scott's was a wicked spider-man one which makes up for any hole in the lovin' department) and it said to "mr. ian j turner" and i'm not so sure how i felt about it. luckily next time i saw her she did my laundry and gave me all the shepard's pie i could eat, securing in my mind the fact that it's still ok for me to play sega and road hockey for the better part of a day.
